Hola,

So, here’s what’s been happening in relation to Things You Missed over the past year. The posts in which I share personal, traumatic, and real experiences from my life have been the ones I've received the most feedback on. Many of you have commented and reached out to me with lots of affection, honestly surprised that I actually have feelings, lol. I must say that, even though it’s scary, I do enjoy connecting with you in ways beyond just my dark sense of humor and hot, insufferable takes. However, the posts that get more views, more attention (clicks), and honestly, the ones where we all have more fun, are my subway stories.

New York is a fun place, and I moved here because the visual stimulation this city offers is unmatched anywhere else. But despite what social media tells you, the best looks and the most interesting people are not dinning at The Polo Bar or Balthazar—they’re simply riding the subway, every day, at ALL TIMES. The amount of both ease and thought that goes into what people wear to their jobs, parties, gyms, or just anywhere, has always fascinated me. As many of you know, I’ve photographed everything and every commuter I find fascinating, probably since I arrived here ten years ago. So, if you’re one of my readers who needed a break from my “pay-to-cry-with-me” posts or you just love the city’s characters, this post is for you! ENJOY!!!
